Job Description: Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Associate Control Center & Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa, Italy.

Accountabilities Help desk activities for remote and centralized Maintenance activities Guarantee corrective and preventive maintenance task starting, performance and closing including associated logistics and spares activities Monitoring and analysis of Reliability & Maintainability figures and operational performance of in-service equipment support troubleshooting and fault finding activities Updating and maintaining "as maintained" SW & HW Configuration Reporting activities Required Skills/Knowledge Bachelor's Degree in technical area or equivalent technical background From 0 up to 3 years Experience in maintenance activities or equivalent Testing & Fault finding Incident/accident investigation Knowledge of technologies Maintenance Railway Safety Rules & Regulations Statistical analysis and "data management" Use of maintenance tools knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems; knowledge HW infrastructures (Server, Storage and Blade); knowledge of virtualized environments; knowledge of network infrastructures; knowledge of the English language; troubleshooting ability. Education/Qualification Bachelor's Degree in technical area or Equivalent Technical Background.
Languages Fluent in English.
