Description Our client, a boutique firm specializing in a variety of complex commercial litigation and corporate transactions, is looking for an Associate Attorney to join their firm near Troy, MI. They're seeking a tenured law professional to lead sophisticated commercial real estate transactions while supporting other corporate law matters. Aside from a strong company law background, they're looking for the right culture fit. Most of their partners have come from bigger firms and consciously decided to cultivate and nurture a different environment. Their Managing Partner shared, "We like to believe we've created a safe space where we are allies for each other and that's number one." Although this line of work is inherently stressful, our client has made it a point to lead their firm in a way that champions respect and harmonious partnerships. You'll probably have more fun with them too. Their work hard/play hard mentality is evidenced by their shuffleboard table in the office, stand-up bar, and often going out for cocktails together. Whether you are grinding at a bigger firm looking for more of an opportunity to soar on your own or want to surround yourself in a better, less adversarial environment filled with true collaboration, this is your chance to find a higher calling.
