Assistant Project Manager

A Commercial Construction company specializing in HVAC, Piping and Plumbing is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Florence, SC.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar field. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply! The ideal candidate will have a go-getter personality, must have an eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assist project manager in the execution of the management plan for assigned projectsHelp coordinate and manage a project from inception to completionReview project designs and contribute ideas for cutting costsCarry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely mannerTrack and directly report project status updates to project managerOrganize, file, and maintain all current project documentsEnter information into and manage the digital project databasesAssist in ensuring compliance with necessary specificationsHelp create, manage, and maintain project budgetHelp create and adhere to project timeline and calendarSchedule meetings, phone calls, site visits, etc.Consult with and gather information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc.Maintain positive vendor and client relationshipsEnsure project adheres to set schedule and is meeting goals of the clientProficient in Microsoft Suites and other management softwareOrganized and detail-orientedAdaptable and calm under pressurePay is $30-$35/hr. (DOE) + Per Diem for travel as needed
