An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Merchandising Men to join our team in Milan.
This role supports the merchandising team in the planning, management, and analysis of men's collections, ensuring that products align with company strategy and market trends.
Reporting directly to the Merchandising Manager Men, the Assistant Merchandiser will be essential in ensuring smooth departmental operations and providing valuable analytical and organizational support to the team.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Merchandiser Manager in defining the product mix and developing men's collections.
Assist in creating assortment plans for different sales channels (retail, wholesale, e-commerce).
Manage product data in company systems, ensuring accuracy in product codes, prices, and descriptions.
Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to support strategic decisions.
Monitor KPIs, such as sell-through, gross margin, and stock levels, highlighting risks and opportunities to the team.
Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholder meetings.
Oversee the product development process in coordination with design, production, and supply chain teams.
Track timelines to ensure samples and final products are available according to schedule.
Support the team in preparing line sheets and sales materials.
Collaborate with retail, e-commerce, and wholesale teams to ensure products meet the needs of each channel.
Work with the marketing team to provide product details for campaigns and promotional materials.
Support the visual merchandising team with product information to ensure presentations align with brand standards.
Ensure product master data and databases are accurate and up to date.
Assist with order management, from creation to approval.
Monitor stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the luxury fashion sector.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Familiarity with ERP systems, PLM, and analytics software (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
Strong interest in men's fashion and knowledge of trends and dynamics in the luxury sector.
Attention to detail and precision in data processing.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent analytical skills and results-oriented mindset.
Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of a third language is a plus.
