Job Description Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Assistant Lead for the Visual Inspection department located in Monza (MB). The resource will operate in a department where Visual Inspection (automatic, semi-automatic, and manual) of sterile drugs in vials (liquid and lyophilized form) or pre-filled syringes is performed. The resource, reporting to the Visual Inspection Supervisor, will collaborate daily with quality and all other functions on site to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver the product to patients. The Assistant Lead will play a coordinating role in the activities assigned to them, ensuring appropriate collaboration from the operators.
The Assistant Lead is responsible for achieving quantity and quality objectives of the production activities of the VI DPS. This role includes planning and controlling daily and weekly production activities of the department, ensuring compliance with procedures and company standards, safety and environmental regulations, and instructions from superiors.
Main Responsibilities: Production Planning: Contribute to ensuring adequate production planning within the weekly and daily period. Assign tasks to operators based on instructions from the Planning and Department Scheduler.
Supervision and Quality Control: Ensure that production is carried out in accordance with planned timelines and quality standards. Supervise production activities, including the Visual Inspection procedure. Check Batch Records and departmental documentation related to activities performed. Ensure compliance with the master batch record respecting GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and corporate operating procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications: Degree in CTF, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or diploma with prior experience in a similar role.At least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or food industry (preferred).Proficiency in Italian and English.Strong resource management and coordination skills.Excellent leadership skills.Availability to work shifts, including continuous and night shifts.Responsibility and flexibility in managing work responsibilities.
