Assistant Inventory Officer: Your life on board:
As the Assistant Inventory Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Inventory Officer. You'll prepare detailed reports and ensure smooth ship-to-shore interactions.
Demonstrate your passion:
You will prepare the daily Food Cost and check the correct values of daily consumptions to ensure an accurate service.
You will support the Inventory Officer and report any discrepancies present in the invoices.
Getting Things Right:
You will regularly report the correct stock on hand to the Provision Master and his assistant.
You will supply the invoices and match the customer orders for the F&B, Hotel, and photo departments to verify the accuracy of the data and item codes entered in the reports. You will handle precise data input and check item alignment for submission to shore-side offices. Safety First:
You will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of safety procedures within the department.
You will track par stock levels in the Central Stores and inform the Inventory Officer of any significant overages or shortages.
You will notify the Inventory Officer of any non-conformities or malfunctions in the Store Rooms and ensure that personnel adhere to Safety Material Management.
What makes you unique:
You have a secondary school diploma (Bachelor's degree in Economics or similar is preferable).
You have at least 1 year of experience in accountability and cost control.
You have in-depth knowledge of food safety regulations (i.e. HACCP) essential for maintaining high standards.
You have a good command of the English language, at least at a B2 level of proficiency.
You have expertise in managing stores, handling requisition orders, and planning logistics.
You master the MS Office package.
