For our client, an Italian branch of a multinational leader in the production of capital goods we are looking for a:
Assistant Finance Manager
- Cost Control; Product and Process costing - ensuring that costs reflect the true cost of manufacture, cost analysis and reporting on any variances
- Variance analysis (vs CY-LY-Budget-Forecast)
- Analysis and explanation of deviations and finalization of Reporting Packages
- Budgeting activities (Budget-Forecast)
- Support in the evaluation of CAPEX projects;
- Support for the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts according to US GAAP principles and the Statutory Financial Statements according to ITA GAAP principles
- Accounts Receivable controlling (Factoring management, Rebate accruals, payment days and bad-debt risk calculation)
- Support requests for ad hoc analyses by cost center / account and preparation of periodic presentations
- Manage yearly financial audits by external audit companies, including SOX compliance
- Other responsibilities might include (BS and bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, tax reporting support, AR management, creation of forecasting models, sensitivity analysis, etc)
**REQUIREMENTS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Experience 4 - 6 years in multinational, dynamic and fast environments
- Plant Controller or FP&A experience of at least 1 year
- Advanced knowledge of management, industrial and cost accounting
- Big 4 experience would be a plus
- Very good analytical and partnering skills
- Proficient in English (C1 level or above) and Italian
- Excellent Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, sumifs etc)
- Strong Communication and Knowledge Sharing skills
- Demonstrated ability to work by objectives and meet deadlines
- Flexible work approach and adaptability to changes
