Assistant Controller

Position Snapshot Nestlé Italy, San Pellegrino Terme (BG) Fixed-term contract (1 year) with the possibility of future employment At least 6 months of experience in Finance / Accounting / Controlling Undergraduates or graduates in Economics / Finance and/or Accountancy Qualification Proficiency in English and Italian Nestlé welcomes people with disabilities Position Summary In this role you will be part of our Finance Team and you will support the financial analysis process for the overheads costs to facilitate a fact-based decision-making process, ensuring adherence to Financial and Nestlé Accounting Standards requirements.

A day in the life... Collaborating with the centre of competence based in Barcelona to prepare dynamic forecasts (annual and quarterly review) and actual closing; Interacting with the stakeholders for the operational file to prepare the budget with Official Budget tool; Making manual journal/accrual for the monthly closing; Interacting with internal stakeholders to define the budget and for quarterly review for the spending; Collaborating with the Decision Support Manager, Overheads and Business Controllers in order to provide a high-quality data/timely framework; Preparing Reporting, data and analysis to be submitted to the Business Unit Controller and functional directors.
What Will Make You Successful Basic knowledge of Financial Management and Accounting Principles Strong knowledge of Excel; SAP is a nice to have Curiosity and attention to details Strong relational and organizational skills Problem-solving skills Proficiency in English and Italian
