Qurate Retail Group is the largest player in video commerce ("vCommerce"), which includes video-driven shopping across linear TV, ecommerce sites, digital streaming and social platforms.The OpportunityFor our Buying team based in Brugherio (MB), we are looking for an Assistant Buyer (Home) – full-time maternity cover.
You will provide creative and administrative support to the Buyer in developing product ranges to meet sales, margin, and stock targets within a specific product/category area.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the buying process.Your ImpactReporting to the Buying Manager (Home) you will be responsible for:Managing and keeping updated all information on vendors including company profile, logo, positioning, contact person, Guest/Expert, etc.Managing vendor contracts communicating information on the agreed product purchase characteristics for the order process.Managing samples used in the Buying team from their reception to the return.Providing to the business information of the Guest availability and keeping the vendor informed on any changes to the programming.Data Entry activities related to products on internal program.Your key relationships:InternalSupply Chain and QA to ensure correct and effective process order management (critical path).Planning to have updated information on any changes to the programming.TV Sales to provide information on vendors and Guests.Finance to ensure effective administration of vendor contracts.ExternalVendors / Guests.What You BringA previous proven experience in the role or in a similar role.Trend awareness and passion for product.Good knowledge of Excel.English: Fluent.Soft SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work.Ability to work in a dynamic environment.Flexibility.Teamwork.Accuracy.Join us as we enrich life's everyday moments – including yours.
