We are looking for a creative and experienced Art Director Freelance who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment driven by innovation and design. You will cooperate with a design-savvy team to devise an overall concept. You will bring a mix of artistic, marketing, and business expertise to the position, promoting our company and that of our valued clients.
The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect and stimulate any audience, translating marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns.
Responsibilities Determine how best to represent an idea or a concept visually, keeping on brief and managing the ideation, generating clean ideas.Present completed ideas to clients/team members.Produce sketches, storyboards, and roughs to visualize ideas.Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience.Manage and cooperate with the creative team such as graphic designers, set and exhibit designers, or other design staff.Review and approve amended designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members.Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.Provide detailed estimations.Minimum Requirements Proven working experience as Art Director.Deep knowledge of mobile and web app design patterns and UX best practices.Knowledge of the entire product development process, from idea generation and research to detailed UI and interaction design.Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design are highly valued.Proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and UX/UI and prototyping tools such as Figma.Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.Relevant education or training.Knowledge of Agile framework and product management tools (Asana, Jira, ...) is highly valued.Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate research findings into tangible solutions or design opportunities and influence product or business strategy through research.Clear growth mindset, looking for opportunities to learn and motivated to approach challenges proactively.Detail-oriented.Fluent in English.Italian is nice to have.What We Offer Long-term collaborative relationship.Young, cool, innovative, and international environment.Work on very innovative projects for international brands.
