BREAK THE ICE! Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.
We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position Initiate and directly follow the service planning streams as indicated by and under the coordination of the Central Planning Manager, and in accordance with the IOC and IPC guidelines and the expected service levels for the Games stakeholders.
Engage the relevant OCOG functional areas identified as service providers and client owners, coordinate and integrate their plans with the goal of ensuring smooth operations and high-level services are in place at Games-time.
Engage and manage the relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate the integrated planning and manage the working group with Transport, Logistics, and the client-owner FAs.Contribute to the development of the AND application.Manage the functional resource and technical requirements as well as the staff onboarding.Draft the functional policies and procedures, service levels, contingency plans, and mitigation actions.Initiate the operational planning for airports, ports of entry and service points, and take responsibility over the non-competition venues where services are expected to be provided.Contribute to the definition of the functional strategy and write the FA service design document.Requirements Good knowledge and understanding of arrivals and departures requirements and challenges.Operational knowledge of airports, stations, and understanding of group travel requirements.Project management skills.Ability to proactively contribute to operational discussions and to manage challenging situations.Ability to build, manage and train a team, and to liaise with and manage external partners.Working knowledge of English language, other languages a plus.Other information Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is committed in building an inclusive and diversified working environment, striving to guarantee equal opportunities for all workers (L.903/77) and promote the integration into its workforce of persons with disabilities (L.68/99).
