The Area Sales Manager is part of the Sales team and reports to the Sales Manager. The role is responsible for managing the sales of food service and food retail products, as well as associated services in the European market. The Area Sales Manager oversees the clients within their designated area and ensures the achievement of sales objectives in terms of revenue across different market segments and with various stakeholders (OEMs, Wholesalers, End Users, Agents, Contractors), aligned with the defined product mix. Responsibilities: Achieve sales targets for assigned areas, broken down by area, client, and product mix. Prioritize within their area and client portfolio to achieve optimal results for both the company and the client, focusing on identifying and addressing customer pain points. Prepare reports on client visits and maintain the CRM system constantly updated. Develop product forecasts and share them with Operations as part of the S&OP process. Draft quotes, tenders, and finalize contracts as needed. Gather information and conduct benchmarking on competitor products. Participate in trade fairs and seminars. Draft contracts with distributors, agents, and manufacturers, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Manage communications with all stakeholders to introduce new products according to campaign schedules. Identify opportunities for implementing new products. Prepare presentations and organize training seminars on new solutions and products for clients and agents. Provide regular and timely updates on Trade Compliance (embargoes, end users, final destinations, etc.). Requirements: Background in the Refrigeration/HVAC sector. Preferable experience in the field of electronic controls. Availability for frequent travel within Italy and abroad (50% of the time). In-depth technical knowledge of company and competitor products. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong proficiency in English. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Decision-making and organizational skills. Ability to handle stress effectively. Strong results-oriented mindset.
