**ABS Italia **distribute animal genetics from the world's best bulls directly to customer farms on behalf of **Genus ABS**.
As the world leader, the opportunity to join **ABS Italia** in Cemona, Italy will provide you with the opportunity to lead and develop a team of sales people providing an unrivalled portfolio of products and service solutions directly to customer farms.
The position of Area Sales Manager also allows you the opportunity to work directly with a number of customer farms to enable you to stay close to the needs of customers and the performance of **Genus ABS**' portfolio of products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Motivate, lead and develop a team of sales people
- Contribute to and deliver business growth across a portfolio of products: genetics, products, service and technical solutions
- Collaborate and support colleagues across the organisation including Information Technology (IT), Finance, Marketing, Human Resources (HR) and Health and Safety (H&S); analyse and prepare reports to efficiently and effectively manage resources
- Responsible for the budgetary process and control within your area of responsibility
- Develop and lead strategic projects
**Requirements**:
- Effective communication skills in Italian and English language
- Full clean driving license
- Proven experience in a remote people management capacity
- Demonstrable business acumen with an ability to think strategically and understand budget control and, profit and loss accounts (P&L)
