RIMOWA is looking for an Architecture & VM Coordinator (M/F/d).
To be close to the logistics operations and the development teams this job is based in Cologne.
It will ensure a coherent development of display elements integrated to our worldwide transport means and rigorous engineering techniques.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete the description of VM props through a technical brief to assure the correct information is given to suppliers Manage the prototype process to assure the elements are prepared in the most efficient way considering the full cycle of development (cost, assembly, shipping, and installation standards) Assure the approval process moves along as per the critical development schedule Gather and develop a library of standard furniture as reference "Architecture Bible" Standardize and develop all technical details to minimize transport and installation costs Work hand in hand with Purchasing to identify key suppliers and work on their integration into our way of working Manage the full workflow of the Props and Windows development program to guarantee timely delivery to the stores Work with the shipping department in Cologneand the regions to guarantee the most efficient delivery method (maximizing internal resources and determining the need for external ones) Manage all administrative forms and requirements to complete the mission:
Purchase OrdersInvoicing approvalsInvoicing follow up -PaymentsSupplier registrationFollowing up on transportation and export/import forms requirements.Securing a product code for each new product SKUGenerate QR code for each productHandling requests for VM props and assuring deliveryMaintaining the VM catalogueMaintaining Architecture bible YOUR PROFILE:
Designer degree (minimum Bachelor) with a rigorous work ethic and organizational skills or engineering degree (minimum Bachelor) with a creative sensibility Mininum 5 years of working experience in similar role Eager to work with technical teams as well as creatives to deliver ambitious briefs with a realistic approach.
(Able to strike the right balance between Budget, time and quality requirements) Detail driven and problem solver.
Capable of following up on multiple projects and working through challenging timelines Proficiency in Design/architecture programs (Autocad, photoshop, Sketch up, etc.
), Omniplan (or other planning platform) Proficient in use of office programs:
Excel, PowerPoint, keynote Excellent mastery in english is mandatory, German advantageous
