**Job Description Summary**: The Architectural Planning Designer is responsible for engineering drawings of customer site with detailed plans using AutoCAD software.
He/she is involved from the earliest stages of building project, starts with developing ideas of customer site, assessing the need of the building and its users, and its impact within the local environment.
He/she provides support to customers and to sales team by developing of project designs, delivering high quality of architectural planning drawings.

**_Essential Responsibilities_**
- _ Produce concrete drawings, layouts, and/or diagrams from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, design concepts and/or verbal instructions with a specific attention to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation and fire protection sides_
- _ Works with project engineers, equipment planning designers and other team members in an integrated approach_
- _ Develop architectural drawings, details, technical specification, standards documents, etc.
for turnkey project deals.
Use Computer Assisted Design ( CAD ), drafting equipment and software to develop designs_
- _ Works with Installation Specialists and Project Managers of Installation (PMoI) to capture and produce a design that captures all equipment requirements for either new or existing equipment installations_
- _ Establish architectural design standards, procedures and techniques to produce and maintain drawings and CAD models_
- _ Ensure all necessary documentation is complete such as engineering prints, related product specifications to allow successful transfer to PMOI or Customers._

**_ Qualifications/Requirements_**
- _ Bachelor's degree in Architecture and related field (Civil Engineering)_
- _ Demonstrated ability to independently draw conclusions from technical information_
- _ Experience working with cross functional teams_
- _ Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form_
- _ CAD experience.
Detailed knowledge and highly proficient with CAD_
- _ Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues.
Ability to meet reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets_
**_ Desirable skills_**
- _ At least 5 years' experience in hospital projects design; with attention to mechanical and electrical site needs_
- _ Minimum of 5 years of CAD experience.

- _Ability to communicate in local language and proficiency in English_
- _ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently toward timely completion of a desired goal_
- _ Ability to interact with vendors and customers on equipment installation issues as required_
