As an Archetype Solution Architect, you will be at the heart of our operations, working closely with the Archetype Lead and Global Business Process Owners (GBPOs). Your ability to communicate effectively in business language will be crucial as you collaborate with these key stakeholders to understand business unit strategies, address underlying challenges, and explain both standard and custom functions.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with the Archetype Lead to define optimal design options from A to ZLeverage your communication skills and cultural sensitivity to engage with diverse stakeholders on both business and technical frontsUtilize your technical expertise in SAP across all relevant modules to evaluate and recommend the best solutions for the archetypeOptionally, use Celonis to share insights on the current usage of S4, identify gaps, and assist GBPOs in understanding analysis and monitoring business improvementsYou will report directly to the Global Product Manager and have a dotted line to the Archetype Lead. Your Responsibilities Manage the pipeline of key user and GBPO change requests, channeling them to the correct GBPOs for initial clarificationPrepare for archetype triage by organizing and conducting triage meetings with the Archetype Lead, GBPOs, and E2E Stream representativesIdentify involved End-to-End streams and gather feedback through E2E archetype SPOCsSupport GBPOs in writing business requirement specifications (user stories)Collaborate with E2E stream archetype SPOCs to size and prepare for TCB, and prioritize change requests with GBPOs and the Archetype LeadPropose improvements to the archetype processMonitor and support the implementation, testing, and deployment of change requests relevant to the ArchetypeDrive the quality of Archetype training documentation and the Business Process Master List (BPML), regularly reviewing and managing improvements with GBPOsSuggest improvements to the Archetype Lead based on a comprehensive understanding of A to Z integration across streamsParticipate in workshops and other activities to understand BU strategy, pain points, and prioritiesSupport GBPOs in explaining current functionality, S4 design principles, and design optionsExplain S4 standard and custom functionality, and the A to Z impact of design optionsManage the Archetype triage process and explain the current usage of S4, identify gaps (using Celonis), and monitor improvements if requested by GBPO or Archetype LeadAct as a speaking partner for Product Owners and Solution Architects on technical aspects of the ArchetypeLive Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the businessYour Background Bachelor/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience5 years of experience in similar positionSAP functional consultant experience in several modules e.g. SD, PP, MM, FI/CO, PSStrong delivery focus and ability to provide leadership to ensure effective solutions that drive business valuesAbility to generate new ideas and challenge status quoSAP Cross-functional understanding of Hitachi Energy business best practicesGood interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in both spoken & written English language is requiredApply now
