Application & Project Engineer – Meccanica

Location: Italy, Turin | Contract: Full Time
Functions:Located in Torino – Italy, possibility to travel according to customer needs, up to 50% of the time.Perform a mix of pre-sales, post-sales and technical engineering activities.Perform calculations for test-cases or sw benchmarks or consulting for mechanical 0D/1D/3D applications with Simcenter Amesim software on topics like:Automotive PowertrainAeronautical actuations, flight controlMechanical industry cams and mechanismsConverting and material transportationVirtual commissioning and in-operation monitoring with virtual sensorsParticipate in the offering process to assist the sales team in determining the customer needs.Develop the project by creative technical thinking.Listen to customer needs during pre-sales activity and fulfill project tasks.Maintain product knowledge in terms of theory, practice and use of software systems.Attend the necessary internal training to develop simulation skills.Provide feedback related to software performance.Liaise with the internal team to resolve customer issues that may arise during the engineering activities.Provide necessary reporting to track progress.Profile:A degree in mechanical engineering and possibly a minimum 2 years' experience of hi-tech project engineeringExperience in modelling mechanical systems and componentsKnowledge of FEM, Multibody 3D, frequency analysis are a plusStrong knowledge of 1D and System Simulation products and applications (Amesim, Matlab/Simulink/Simscape or similar)Able to adapt well to fast changing environmentMothertongue ItalianWilling to travel in case of customer requestsConditions: We offer, besides an attractive salary and benefits package, an internationally oriented and innovative high-tech environment.
