Application & Project Engineer – Elettrica / Batterie Location: Italy, Turin | Contract: Full Time
Functions:Located in Torino – Italy, possibility to travel according to customer needs, up to 50% of the time.Perform a mix of pre-sales, post-sales and technical engineering activities.Perform calculations for test-cases or sw benchmarks or consulting for electrical motors / networks and batteries with 0D/1D Amesim software and/or Simcenter Speed or Motorsolve.Perform local technical consulting activities upon customers request, either on-site at BSim or on-site at customer premises.Participate in the offering process to assist the sales team in determining the customer needs.Develop the project by creative technical thinking.Listen to customer needs during project o pre-sales activity and fulfill project tasks.Maintain product knowledge in terms of theory, practice and use of software systems.Attend the necessary internal training to develop simulation skills.Provide feedback related to software performance.Liaise with the internal team to resolve customer issues that may arise during the engineering activities.Provide necessary reporting to track progress.Profile:A degree in mechanical/mechatronic engineering and minimum 2 years' experience of hi-tech project engineeringExperience in modelling electrical and hybrid propulsion systems and components in the field of transportationKnowledge of electrical motors, inverters and batteries technologies and mathematical modelingStrong knowledge of 1D and System Simulation products and applications (Amesim, Matlab/Simulink/Simscape or similar)Able to adapt well to fast changing environmentMothertongue ItalianWilling to travel in case of customer requestsConditions: We offer, besides an attractive salary and benefits package, an internationally oriented and innovative high-tech environment.
