As an Application Engineer you will be a key asset in ensuring an efficient planning and management of projects assigned to you.
Few examples of responsibilities: Perform engineering and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities on acquired orders for both On-Demand Projects and Technology Benchmarks through these activities:
o Material selection and high-level printing strategy recommendation
o Redesign for Additive Manufacturing activities, CAD activities, Engineering activities on projects
o Interface with Operations to coordinate final printing strategyMechanical design of tooling, molds, mastermolds or final components for Automotive, Aerospace, Architecture&Construction, Industrial, Art&Design and Marine IndustriesDaily management of operative task with Manufacturing PartnerCoordinate the supplier work and ensure its on time, on quality and on cost delivery of the activityProject ManagementIdeal Background: Diploma or Degree in Product Design or related fieldPrevious experience in the role is desirable but not mandatoryGood knowledge of Rhinoceros and GrasshopperNice to have: Knowledge of CAD tools, CAD 2D and assembly designGood proficiency in both written and spoken EnglishAvailability to travelExcellent interpersonal skills, predisposition for teamwork and problem-solving abilitiesWhat we offer: Opportunity for career advancementFriendly, international and innovative work environmentContinuous learning and development opportunitiesCaracol is an equal opportunity employer.
