Summary / Role Purpose Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to partner with our customers to engineer what's ahead, solve their real-world engineering problems, deploy Ansys software in their design workflows, and grow Ansys' business.
In this dynamic customer-facing role, you will engage with industry-leading companies across the world to ensure technical and business success in the upfront simulation market.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with the immediate supervisor to enhance engineering knowledge, learn relevant Ansys products and gain experience in customer communication.
Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of Ansys Discovery to provide highest level technical support to customers and Channel Partners.
Proactively engage with selected accounts, and work with Ansys subject matter experts to provide comprehensive solutions to customers' problems.
Instruct introductory training classes and contribute to the delivery of professional services for projects.
Gather customer requirements to support the improvement of Ansys software and collaborate with the Ansys product development teams.
Participate in internal corporate initiatives to share knowledge and create best practices.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Required education and degree type: BS in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical/Material Science Engineering or related field Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+0 Solid understanding of numerical methods used in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages Knowledge and practical experience with CAD-Embedded simulation tools Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work on multiple complex projects Strong organizational and time management skills Professional demeanor and strong business acumen Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English Ability to travel up to 25% of time Preferred Qualifications and Skills Preferred education and degree type: MS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical/Material Science Engineering or related field 1–2 years of professional experience in a related role Internships or university projects involving simulation, analysis, or software applications related to engineering Programming certifications in Python, C++, or similar Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent French INCLUSION IS AT OUR CORE
