Role Summary: Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (ComOps Applications Engineer).
In this function, you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.
In particular, the Applications Engineer is responsible for redacting a variety of quotations for the Flowserve Pump Division Customer Portfolio.
Main tasks will include quotation preparation, specification review, price development, and terms and conditions analysis.
Coordination and interaction with several internal (engineering, sales, Supply Chain) and external (sub-suppliers, Customers) stakeholders is a key factor.You will report to the ComOps Manager or Supervisor.Your role:Support and proactively keep high-level interaction with the sales team, operations, and other stakeholders to offer the best customer experience.Evaluation of requests and generation of solution proposals.Cost calculation, if necessary, in cooperation with the relevant departments.Technical and commercial preparation of offers.Monitor and manage the entire offer cycle (technical alignment, price revision, CRM management).Risk assessment management to reduce technical and financial risk.Order acceptance, review, and clean order handover to the Order Fulfillment team.Your Profile:BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of relevant experience.Strong technical acumen and analytical thinking.Ability to work in a team.Good communication skills.Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as Inside Sales Representative or Proposal Engineer.Fluent in English; additional language knowledge is a plus.Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.Limited availability to travel abroad.What we offer:Friendly multicultural environment and team events.Life, accident, and health insurance.Cafeteria Package.Career development and training opportunities.
