The objective of the ICS Control Management is to provide specialized and strategic operational risk (OR) advisory specific to product and service areas.
The role will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.ICS Control Management organization is looking for an Analyst of ICS Control Management focused on ensuring control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our business.
It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.The Analyst, International Card Service (ICS) Control Management will:Assist in specific areas of execution plans for operational risk management within the business unit (ICS), including BU specific guidelines, project plans, etc.Support the ICS Control Management Manager guiding the business with PRSA and refresh requirements, audit activities, and the end-to-end risk assessment process as per AEMP54 for new products, platforms, and capabilitiesTrack certain issues with KRI limits and risk appetite for ICS to ensure operational risks are managed within agreed thresholdsExecute targeted projects directed at resolution of control gaps, mitigation of risk and remediationSupport the implementation of parts of the operational risk framework to enable effective risk management and decision making in the BUHelp facilitate the understanding and use of the risk governance framework basics across BUs through regular communicationAssist to aggregate basic level reporting, approvals/exceptions and support "change-the-function" activities for the BUFollow processes to ensure and monitor the integration of regulatory changes & updates into the Operational Risk framework and training materialsSupport sharing insights, better practices, themes, etc.
across the Legal EntitySupport the Italy market legal entity Governance & Operational Risk WG (1st line of defense body) coordinating the info flows, taking minutes, doing follow ups, reviewing the deck and ensuring risks and issues are properly addressedRequired Qualifications:1-2 Years experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) Understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activitiesProject management, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience in process governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standardsAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectivelyFluent in English and Italian both written and spokenAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software including experiencing building and using large-scale reports and databases.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageousExperience in at least one of the following: oTracking and identifying issues with Key Risk Indicator (KRI) limits and risk appetite to ensure operational risks are managed within agreed thresholdsoProvide support of implementing the operational risk governance frameworks oSupporting of creating, communicating and ensuring understanding and adherence to operational risk procedures and standards oAssisting the operational risk exam management processesWe back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
