CRIF Ratings has been authorized by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) in December 2011 to assign credit ratings to non-financial corporates within the European Union. The agency is a recognized External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI) in accordance with Article 135(2) of the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR), having obtained the individual mapping tables by the Joint Committee of European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, ESMA and EIOPA) in November 2014. The agency is a member of EACRA, the European Association of Credit Rating Agencies.

The Rating Department, currently composed of c. 50 analysts based in Italy and Slovenia, covers the European bank and debt capital market, providing credit ratings on non-financial institutions and ancillary services to support financial institutions, investors and corporations in the assessment, primarily, of the creditworthiness of SMEs and large corporates.

INTERNSHIP ANALYST ACTIVITY: Working within the Rating Department, the successful candidate will support senior analysts in the assessment of the creditworthiness of non-financial corporations requested by corporations, banks, investors and other financial institutions;The candidate will also be involved in benchmarking analysis, sector studies and portfolio assessment;The successful candidate will be part of the Ancillary Services Business Unit. The position is located in Bologna.REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance;Knowledge of local and international accounting principles (IAS/IFRS);Understanding of assessment of financial and business risk of non-financial corporations (e.g., key credit ratios);Proficiency in MS Office suite;Team player and result-oriented professional, with ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines;Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.We offer a safe and inclusive environment where colleagues are encouraged to think outside the box.
