Opal are the National Intelligence Unit for Serious and Organised Acquisitive Crime (SOAC) and we are growing and developing our capabilities!We have a vacancy for an analyst to join us on a 2-year fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.
The successful candidate will work closely with law enforcement, partner agencies, and industry.
Providing a multi-agency approach to target and disrupt organised crime groups involved in cross border criminality.We seek to discover and develop intelligence from a variety of sources, highlight current and emerging crime trends, share good practice and learning, and target those causing the greatest harm to our communities.Opal report to the North Wales Chief Constable, Amanda Blakeman, who is the National Police Lead for acquisitive crime in support of the National Police Chiefs Council.
