Responsibilities SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS S.p.A, one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS S.p.A. ensures daily support to over 300 clients. Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, financial intermediaries (brokers, investment companies).
Tasks and responsibilities: Be responsible for performing all Depositary Bank oversight duties on client portfolio (Alternative Investment Funds) assigned, in accordance with applicable regulation and internal policies.Build strong customer relationships with existing and new clients and external providers to gain accuracy in NAV verification, monitoring investment restrictions, and participants management.Be in charge of collection and review of relevant documents and ensure ownership chain, giving regular feedback and escalating without delay issues and risks identified.Be involved in setting up new funds in the internal control environment in accordance with Risk approved Model applied by Depositary Bank.Profile required Studies & experience: Economics - bachelor's degree.At least one year experience in NAV & limits verification with a focus on Alternatives Funds.Language skills: Advanced/native level of Italian.Fluent in English.Intermediate in French.Technical, operational & Soft skills: Good knowledge of the current regulatory framework.Good knowledge of major office automation applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Autonomy and result orientation.Capacity to identify operational risks.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.Solution-oriented.Risk-oriented.Understanding & Respectful.Both 360° vision and execution orientation.Able to connect with different kinds of people.Attention to detail and deep analytical skills.Positive dynamism.Cooperation.Team Spirit.Why join us In a highly competitive and fragmented financial market, our ambition is to be the reference partner recognized for its service quality and competitiveness, its agile solutions, and international network coverage.
