Responsibilities SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS S.p.A, one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS S.p.A. ensures daily support to over 300 clients, including institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, and financial intermediaries (brokers, investment companies).
Tasks and responsibilities: Perform all Depositary Bank oversight duties on assigned client portfolios (Alternative Investment Funds) in accordance with applicable regulations and internal policies. Build strong customer relationships with existing and new clients and external providers to ensure accuracy in NAV verification, monitoring investment restrictions, and managing participants. Collect and review relevant documents, ensuring ownership chain, and provide regular feedback while escalating identified issues and risks without delay. Be involved in setting up new funds in the internal control environment in accordance with the Risk-approved Model applied by the Depositary Bank.
