Job summary
Our Calibration team in Porto Sant'Elpidio (FM) is seeking a Data Analysis Engineer with knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink to integrate cutting-edge algorithms for calibration, performance assessment, and anomaly detection. This role focuses on Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS), Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), and other sensor types. Responsibilities include conducting data analysis for engineering models and prototypes, and collaborating closely with teams in electronics, firmware, navigation, and mechanical engineering. We encourage applicants with backgrounds in Aerospace, Automation, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related scientific disciplines to apply.
Duties and responsibilities Develop software tools and Matlab libraries to automate data analysis processes, ensuring high performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Integrate and optimize algorithms for data analysis and sensor calibration. Develop Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) models in Simulink for simulation activities. Provide documentation and manuals for the usage of developed software tools. Transfer know-how related to the use of developed tools and libraries. Data analysis for engineering models and prototypes. Qualification and skills Master's degree in Aerospace, Automation, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent scientific fields. Familiarity with optimization algorithms, parametric estimation, numerical analysis, and signal processing fundamentals. Knowledge in modelling tools such as Matlab/Simulink. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven attitude. Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking. Benefits and Perks
