Job Description: Job Summary: Operational preparation involves planning the sort operation according to the planned volume and on-time departure, combined with information received from the ramp. The role includes analyzing the volume planned for the day, organizing the distribution of departing shuttles and/or air ULDs based on the planned arrival and departure time, while ensuring objectives of on-time departure and service guarantees to the end customer.
Responsibilities include:
Collecting instructions from the SPV / TL of reference and communications from other department management (Gateway Manager, Division Manager, etc.)Gathering information from related departments (Cologne European Air Service Center; Brokerage department)Utilizing data from UPS systems (TFCS, OPSYS, GSSI)Issuing pre-alert documents for sorts, such as:
Inbound / Outbound DispatchLoad Quality ReportCMRAir Manifest ContainerIssuing security documents such as:
Declaration of Security of GoodsManagement of Air Containers sealsConducting and preparing the daily Pre-Operation meeting with the Cooperative Supervisor, including:
Analysis of volume and equipment needs in unloading/loadingInstructions for unloading/loading Air Containers/ShuttlesMaintaining and controlling the Salt Program, related to hazardous materials management and daily testing with DG labeling to OSP.
WEIGHING Air Containers (after specific training):Weighing of air containers using certified weighing instruments (e.g., Automated Scale Interface - ASI)Sealing of air containersCompilation of Air manifests for ContainersMANAGEMENT SORT:Management/supervision of loading/unloading operations in compliance with UPS procedures.Audit that all personnel possess and use Personal Protective Equipment and display identification badges.Audit that all staff have correct tool access (e.g., GSSI scan, Load chart, etc.)Audit/Check of aircraft ULDs (e.g., ULD serviceability, Air Manifest, etc.)Audit/Check of correct handling methodology of packages.Organization of contingency operations with OSP Representative.Communicating with management regarding any operational anomalies.
POST-OPS MANAGEMENT:Conducting and preparing the daily Post-Operation meeting with the Cooperative representative.Analysis of performance and deficiencies of equipment/personnel.Compilation and sending of department summary reports of operations.Archiving of documents as required.Self-training activities with web tools and periodic training activities.Working Hours: Monday - Friday 18:30 - 22:30
