Future Education Modena (https://fem.digital/) is an international EdTech center, created to innovate education and bring learning into the 21st century.
It has a team of 50 people, a network of over 100 collaborators and a network of national and international partners.
It is organized into 9 strategic areas of educational RD, has trained over 120,000 people and impacted over 1 million students in the last 4 years through 250 original formats, and is launching 4 EdTech startups.

For this reason, our environment is dynamic, involves strong interaction with colleagues and stakeholders, and gives space to the person, their ideas and their expression.Contract Type: Part-time or full-time contract, preferably full time.Work Environment: Possibility of hybrid work: we really believe in the contamination that an environment like ours offers, but we don't want presence to be an obstacle to collaboration.Responsibilities:Design and development of artificial intelligence tools and applications;Participation in research and development activities, design and development of technologies for educational innovation (EdTech), in collaboration with the STEM and ICT area teams of FEM;Design and delivery of activities and training events related to Data Science and AI, both for schools and external companies.Must Have:Degree (Master's or Doctorate are preference criteria) in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science or similar disciplines;Passion for education and desire to profoundly innovate the learning field through effective AI-based technologies;Excellent knowledge of the main machine learning algorithms;Skills in designing and developing systems based on data and/or machine learning;Knowledge of the main frameworks for the development of AI technologies (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch) and the state of the art in the main development sectors (Computer Vision, NLP, Audio Processing, Generative AI);In-depth knowledge of the main deep learning architectures (ANN, CNN, RNN, Transformers) and their use.Nice to Have:Strong propensity for research and development (RD) and innovation in the methodological and technological fields, with a particular aptitude for contamination between disciplines and the in-depth study of different disciplinary verticalities;Interest in teaching, dissemination, learning;Knowledge of MLOps for the production and management of products based on AI systems;Knowledge of one or more of the main cloud service providers for the release of AI tools (MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud);Knowledge of ethical principles in the world of artificial intelligence;Knowledge of data management languages and platforms (SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau and similar);Examples of projects, including at an academic level, carried out in the past.How to Apply:If you want to work in a place at the frontier of innovation and educational research and you see yourself in our vision and the characteristics listed here, follow the link and fill out the form.
