Job Title: AFTER SALES & SERVICES SPECIALISTPosition PurposeThe After Sales & Services Specialist provides after-sales service support to customers, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of sold products. The candidate will report to the Service Supervisor and will liaise with him for each specific task described below.
ResponsibilitiesWrite effective after-sales job descriptions, detailing duties, responsibilities, and expectations.Analyze the volume of repairs by store on a monthly basis.Prospect on a day-to-day basis by phone, mail, and in person.Ensure customers are 100% satisfied.Inspect all systems prior to delivery and explain and demonstrate operation of all current equipment.Make appointments for customers to have service performed.Work with suppliers and OEMs to ensure good pricing and service.Collaborate with shipyard colleagues to ensure good communication and working relationships between departments.Pre-delivery and DeliveryProvide technical assistance during hauling out and launching operations of yachts.Conduct quality checks and performance testing of yachts after delivery.Assess time and cost of non-conformities after the first yacht inspection.Scout, plan, and manage subcontractors involved in repair works.Oversee and follow up on repair lists.Provide technical support for the Owners team.Warranty Related ActivitiesManage warranty claims after delivery worldwide (EMEA, AMS, EPAC).Provide breakdown service – on-board diagnostics and repair.Organize, plan, and oversee warranty interventions, options' installations, and maintenance services.Manage technical aspects of yachts during events and boat shows.Oversee warehouse management for Sales and Service.Manage marina operations and oversight.RequirementsProficient in English, both written and spoken.Familiarity with MS Office.Knowledge of yacht repair processes and warranty administration.Understanding of market competition and economy.Potential to become an expert in the after-sales business.Knowledge of process improvement principles.Desired ExperienceTwo or more years of team management experience in a workshop environment.Knowledge of all aspects of yachts, including evaluation and repair.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to find solutions.Strong ability to work and communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, customer service, and management within the shipyard network.Place of Work
