Position description • Work in close contact with Customers to proactively support them in an efficient utilization of all the equipments supplied by MAAG. • Responsibility to supervise, prepare, with the assistance of the after sales team, and submit quotation to Customers for spare parts for pumps, screen changers & pelletizing lines and rotor grinding requests coming directly from Customers or through others Sales Engineers. • Able to process the Spare parts, repair and field services orders internally (as Backup ot the after sales team). • To provide a fast support to Customer in case of mechanical / electrical failure with interventions at Customer's site. • To work in close contact with Italian, Swiss or German workshops and to coordinate the equipment analysis and repairs (root cause analisys) and also responsible for the preparation of reports for customers. • Support of Swiss / German Engineers during Start Up and trouble shooting towards the Italian Customers and French customers (when required) and coordinate the activities of multi tasking teams. • Responsible in case of revamping, trouble shooting, planned maintenance and any other service on customer's. • Proactive interface with Customers by visiting, for a successful after sales support and proposing to them proper maintenance plans (yearly or periodical plans) and/or possible upgrades. • Strictly follow EH&S rules established by the Company and by the Customers during interventions as well as by National law. • Support and prioritize the Repairing activity and the management of the claim in coordination with the rest of the after sales team, with the aim of reducing the warranty issues and warranty costs. The incumbent considers all interests of quality, accident prevention and occupational safety as well as environmental safety in a preventive manner within his scope of responsibility and supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material and environment actively. The incumbent is obliged to perform tasks requested by management that relate to his position scope or arise from company needs. This job description reflects current status, right to make changes reserved. Education Mandatory High school degree, technical/mechanical oriented. Desireable Specific knowledge on chemical/industrial field and plastic process. Knowledge of Electric / Electronics / Automation. Professional experience Mandatory Experience in reading and understanding mechanical drawings and part lists; assembly /disassembly of mechanical parts. Problem Solving and and root cause analysis. Minimum 5 year field experience; Experience in operating in an international team. Desireable SAP system knowledge. Electrical and electronic background; reding and understanding P&ID. Customers' relationship experience.
