Lead Auditor is a function in DNV Business Assurance Italy with the objective of leading the audit team in performing audits/assessment according to DNV standards and protocols, international standards, or equivalent national standards and according to the established DNV methodologies/rules.
Job Description: As an Aerospace Lead Auditor for MSC (Management Systems Certification), you will play a pivotal role in leading audit teams to perform assessments according to DNV standards and protocols, international standards, or equivalent national standards. You will coordinate and conduct 3rd party audits (certification audits) within the aerospace sector, demonstrating expertise and knowledge necessary for effective audit management.
In the role of a Lead Auditor you will:
Proceed with regular auditing field activities; Manage relationships with clients and implement an approach of total customer focus. Carry out in an efficient and competent manner the work for DNV as required by instructions/Quality System and/or as per formal agreement between the client and DNV. Ensure that the independent nature of the DNV scheme is not compromised at any time. Maintain/acquire his/her Auditor Registration with DNV or any other registration having been a basis for his acceptance as Lead Auditor within DNV. Plan and execute audits, report findings and follow-up, when necessary, within agreed timescales and economic frameworks. Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with client personnel. Maintain high morale by contributing to an effective positive work environment. Act as a team player who works well with others and guides through the professional development process, including timely completion of reviews and goal setting. Maintain effective communication with line management, between audit team members and client stakeholders. Ensure the correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and the communication of updated data, in order to allow proper issue and management of certificates. Perform typical back-office tasks such as contacting customers to confirm the planned activities. We offer:

Requirements:
Experience as an Aerospace Lead Auditor for AS9100 or AS9120. Minimum of four years within the last 10 years in the aerospace industry, directly involved in engineering, design, manufacturing, quality, or process control. In-depth knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations. Completion of relevant aerospace industry competency courses approved by the Regulatory Management Committee (RMC) or respective Strategic Management System (SMS). Participation in at least two full aerospace industry audits within the past three years, witnessed by qualified Aerospace Experience Auditors or the Accreditation Body (AB). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Fluency in English and Italian. #J-18808-Ljbffr
