Job Description SummaryThe Aero Joint Venture Asset Management (AM) S&OP manager will lead all aspects of forecasting, planning, prioritization and capacity check for all refurbished/lease/new reconfigured engines and overhauled hot sections modules to support the operations of the Aero JV (50/50 owned by Baker Hughes and GE Vernova).Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesForecasting & planning of AM streams related hardware (Refurbished/Lease engines and rotable modules) and new engines re-configuration stream for the AAJV.Contribute to establish standard processes for channel inputs collection on engines/rotables and reconfigurations forecast and support automation through systems / Smartsheet toolsImplement a 3-5 years out plan SOP close loop based on channel forecast demand to support future supply capacity and strategic inventory decisions to align demand/supply working with AM team in the AAJVWork closely with the SOP repair network leader to align the shop visits master schedule with the additional demand coming from AM and new engines reconfiguration eventsWork closely with parts forecasting/planning team to signal incremental parts demand to support variation in the AM/reconfigurations volume.Establish forecast/prioritization processes & operating rhythms with channels, AAJV and in line with JV value streams and align sales and operations plan with financial forecastLead the demand/supply SOP reviews with channels/AAJV leadershipsMaintain KPI's on forecast accuracy, carcass return time and other indicators as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or related field of study from an accredited college or universityMinimum experience in operations, fulfillment or strategic planningDemonstrable competence in supply chain management principles and practices, shop operations, material management in a manufacturing environmentOperational experience managing a mid to large ecosystems of stakeholders (Channels, AAJV, GE Aerospace)Team worker driving processes & change managementDesired CharacteristicsProven track record of delivering results in a dynamic business environmentExperience that demonstrates technical knowledge and understanding of Gas Turbine systems – Aeroderivatives is an advantageExperience in operational role with Aero derivatives productsSelf-directed with demonstrated problem solving skillsDisplays good interpersonal skills, and able to communicate well with internal and external customersSix Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certificationAPICS certifiedDemonstrated ability to meet goals and objectivesPC ProficiencyDevelops a strong team and breeds positive moralUnderstands business objectives and drives specific tasks required to meet the objectivesUnderstands products, capabilities and limitations in sufficient detail to be able to develop offerings that meet customer needsCommunicates the business vision effectively in an open and consistent mannerEncourages input from all members of the teamAnticipates customer needs and ensures that they are metMeasures processes and performance through the customer's eyesAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: NoJob SummaryJob number: R3696225Date posted : 2023-06-08Profession: ServicesEmployment type: Mid-Career
