Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position: The Aerials Operations Manager has the key role to, in liaison with the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) and in cooperation with ENAC and other Local Authorities in charge of security and control of aerial spaces and activities over the Italian territory, manage all the requests for broadcast related flights, shooting, operations with helicopters and/or drones before Games Time and during the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
Responsible for the overall coordination, detailed planning and implementation of all matters concerning aerials operations of OBS and Media Rights Holders (MRHs) in relation to Milano Cortina 2026.
Participate in meetings and workshops related to the preparation of a detailed plan and master schedule of all the operations of OBS and MRHs related to operative flights and filming pre and during Games Time.
Liaise with OBS and national and international broadcast organizations to identify, assess and eventually implement their aerials operations both during the planning phase and Games Time.
Manage requests and flights permits for OBS and MRHs and liaise with Italian authorities, both at national and local level, on that regard.
Coordinate the planning and implementation of broadcast aerials operations with relevant internal functional areas and external entities, such as ENAC, prefectures and local entities in the territories of Milano Cortina 2026.
Contribute to the preparation and draft Games Guides and Policies and Procedures related to aerials operations.
Prepare written reports to the Head of Broadcast Services as required.
Requirements: Knowledge of drones or helicopter operations and activities.
Experience in liaising with relevant local/national aviation authorities (advantage).
Comprehensive knowledge of international sports media landscape.
Clear understanding of the needs of broadcasters and knowledge of their activities and work approach both before and during Games Time.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Pro-active approach and creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Experience in detailed planning, implementation and delivery of broadcast or aerials operations at international sport events, preferably in previous Olympic Games.
Experience managing and/or liaising with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in project management including working with external stakeholders.
Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of one or several other Olympic movement official languages is an advantage.
