**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The Advanced Purchasing Specialist position represents purchasing as a core member of the platform team tasked with supporting product development.
This position is responsible for collaborating with suppliers and engineering to develop components from concept to production.

**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Work close with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Purchasing teams for global wheel loader product development,**:
**Support New Programs (GPD) by early supplier identification, development, kickoff, and support thru start of production.
**:
**Supports the identification and implementation of cost reduction opportunities.
**:
**Supports the expedited supplier engagement and drives reduced implementation timing of quality and reliability improvements**:**Creates, forecasts, and executes sourcing, purchase orders, and tooling plans in conjunction with Central Purchasing to ensure product launch meets all program targets for quality, cost, and timing.
**:
**Organize meeting with suppliers and engineering to facilitate development to ensure timing, product cost, and investment commitments.
**:
**Holds suppliers accountable to commitments and project deliverables independently and takes the appropriate steps to escalate when required.
**:
**Manages negotiation and implementation of all technical modifications.

**Work with multicultural regions globally**:

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Experience with Product Development cycle and Purchasing methodologies.
**:
**Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel.

**Program/project management experience is a plus.
