To coordinate, organize and supervise all production process methods and engineering activities that enable production and supply chain according to lean principles.
This includes sustaining engineering, new product launch processes, and continuous improvement activities. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining production processes to drive quality and efficiency and to develop manufacturing plant operations which improve competitiveness.
Position Responsibilities Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes on standard products.Improve shop floor productivity and drive controllable spending reduction.Work with lean principles and improve lean culture in the plant with a problem-solving approach.Identify and support the best layout for production processes.Lead manufacturing projects from the idea to execution and implementation with training.Drive the digitalization processes.Introduce new products in manufacturing with new standard works and training for the operators.Develop and implement recommendations for improving efficiency and profitability of the plant.Work with organizations within Ingersoll Rand facility to help organize and set manufacturing direction.Establish a long-term vision for process equipment.Support capital planning, request approvals, project timing, and implementation.Ensure all equipment meets safety regulations.Coordinate activities with sub-contractors as needed.Guarantee the flow of production through appropriate material supply chain approaches.Skills Required Understanding of Lean Manufacturing approach.2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership skills to drive engineering principles and processes.Very good knowledge of English and Italian languages.Location #LI-MT1
