We are currently looking for an Advanced Clinical Support Embryologist to support the aftersales department across Italy & Central & Eastern Europe.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of scientific and medical/technical support activities in EMEIA related to Vitrolife Group Business Areas Consumables and Technology. This includes internal/external education, training and support on media, disposable devices and technologies to ensure that customers obtain optimal results. The post holder will also be required to support the commercial teams on customer visits and key projects across EMEIA. The role also includes Key Opinion Leader network building/management. In select markets the role will also involve provision of embryo biopsy/tubing services for Igenomix customers.
Task, area of responsibility Education and training: Perform comprehensive education and training to internal staff (in-person or remote).Perform comprehensive education and training to healthcare professionals (in-person or remote).Provide support to sales team to respond to technical questions (in-person or remote).Provide training on embryo biopsy, and tubing clinics across EMEIA (in-person or remote).Attend and present at local & International conferences.Clinical Support: Perform troubleshooting and quality control services to healthcare professionals across EMEIA.Provide expertise knowledge on specific products across the Vitrolife group portfolio.Provide technical support on products to healthcare professionals across EMEIA.Initiate, monitor and evaluate product trials and validations.Collaboration with R&D on specific projects as required.Perform embryo pre-biopsy, biopsy, and post-biopsy services to national and international clinics (select markets only).Product Support: Provide support to healthcare professionals to perform research/clinical studies and data collection.Provide support to healthcare professionals to publish data.Review and collate internal data for supporting publications.Provide market feedback to Product Managers/R&D on current and future products.Provide input to Regional and Global marketing materials.Identify, build and manage EMEIA key opinion leaders.Job descriptions are an overview of the duties, responsibilities, and requirements of the position. Educational background and experience:
BSc or equivalent.Ideally (but not a necessity) a PhD or MSc in a relevant field.Minimum 5+ years' experience as a senior embryologist in the IVF industry. Experience at Lab manager or deputy Lab manager level is preferable.Proven competency and validation in embryo biopsy.Good communication skills and proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Ability to travel. Typically, up to 50% of the time, but can reach 70% during peak periods of activity.Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.*The interviews will be conducted in English.
