Adaptability Of Resilient Grain Crops To Climate

OFFER DESCRIPTION The research activity will concern the evaluation of new varieties of grain crops in southern Italian environments characterized by increasingly abiotic stress due to climate change.
In particular, high protein grain crops such as legumes and pseudocereals will be tested.
Field irrigation tests will be conducted to evaluate the response of some selected crops to different irrigation strategies (deficit irrigation strategies and useof marginal quality water) for a sustainable agro-environmental management.
Furthermore, a group of stakeholders will be created in order to exchange information and find operational solutions aimed at solving problems related to local agricultural systems.
