Job DescriptionWithin the Group Actuarial Valuations MVBS - Group Life Valuations function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.
The job-holder will refer to the support to the head of Group Life Valuations - DACH.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalysing IFRS 17 Life Contractual Service Margin (CSM) and Solvency II Life Value in Force variation drivers over each reporting period, performing reconciliations between the different valuation frameworks of a specific country (e.g.
Germany)Monitoring and analysing Life New Business value and all related profitability indicators of a specific country (e.g.
Germany)Performing analysis of Group Life CSM and preparing all relevant back-up material for the Group CFO during quarterly closingsSupporting internal/external analyses and exercises impacting Life portfolio valuesRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Sciences, Economics or any related fieldGood knowledge of Microsoft Office Pack ApplicationsNice to HaveKnowledge of IFRS17 and accounting rulesKnowledge of Solvency II/Embedded Value metricsSoft SkillsBe well organized and detail orientedSelf starterInterested in continually challenging oneself and willingness to step outside of one's comfort zoneAbility to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one's work fits into the broader landscapeCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
