Your Mission
In this role, you will support the development of proof of concepts, function within an agile development environment, and formulate solutions to address critical underwriting issues. You will be responsible for:
Developing underwriting platforms focusing on costing and pricing. Analysing business needs and the actuarial models, with underwriters and other key partners. Specifying changes and working closely with IT to ensure the appropriate implementation. Collaborating with other team members to establish high-performance, yet easy to maintain models and applications. Your story

You have a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or other quantitative subjects. Previous work as an actuary, mathematician, or data engineer is a plus. You have experience programming in Java or R. Experience in underwriting P&C insurance/reinsurance is an asset. You possess strong conceptual and analytical skills and can focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture. Experience as a product owner or project management is an advantage. You are comfortable presenting your work and reasoning in front of stakeholders. You enjoy collaborating with others and are a good communicator in English (B2/C1 level), feeling comfortable working in an international environment.
