Role Purpose The Accounting & Transformation Manager will be part of the Finance Operations department and will be responsible for Purchase to Pay, Tax and Telco Accounting, ensuring timely GL booking, a sound year and month end closure process in line with all controls requirements as well as local and international accounting standards.
It is the responsibility of the role owner to establish a powerful transformation programme driving the change and digitalisation of VF Italia accounting processes and enhance the partner management function with Vodafone Shared Services acting on behalf of the Italian Market.
The role will also coordinate collaboration with the Shared Service Center, uphold the company's policies, SOX controls, and customer satisfaction.
The manager will support any project undertaken in the accounting area to implement new systems, migrate to new platforms, and shape new outsourcing models.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership Operational performance management: Translate the business requirements into qualitative and quantitative targets for PtP, Tax and Telco accounting for the Italian market.
Define measures such as performance indicators and all-encompassing dashboards to track progress against them. Shape the performance management framework towards world-class collaboration between service delivery and the local businesses across the footprint.
Transformation and Change: Define, set-up, execute and coordinate against plans of strategic initiatives aiming at quality improvement of the local market.
Support Company's project aimed to review and integrate processes / systems / operating models.
Vodafone Shared Service: Key SPOC and centre from local market, to manage and coordinate VOIS-related responsibilities as well as acting as focal point to service team and its leadership.
Liaise with FP&A team to support budget and forecast processes.
Liaise with independent auditors and internal audits, including activities in the field of SOX certification.
Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications Five or more years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of accounting and fiscal requirements.
Experience in transformational programs (outsourcing, finance process integration, accounting systems implementation).
Preferable bachelor's degree or study courses in business administration, accounting, finance.
Key Performance Indicators Delivery of transformation, automation, and operational excellence roadmap in time and budget.
Delivery of sound year / month end closure within WD target as well as set target of KPIs for PtP, Tax and Telco.
High level of engagement of direct reports.
