The Accounting & Tax Manager is responsible for the performance and optimization of the accounting & tax activities in full compliance with international and local accounting & tax standards as well as Group internal policies, procedures, and corporate governance rules. Your Mission Local accounting activities Group accounting compliance Tax reports Accounts payable Treasury and banks activities Statutory books Group reporting Take responsibility for balance sheet accounts reconciliation and backup documentation, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, treasury, cash forecasting, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity Monitor and analyze accounting data Adhere to and ensure compliance with the legal and group accounting methods, policies, and principles Set up and monitor accounting KPIs Regularly produce financial reports or statements Perform and oversee annual audits (internal and external audits) Meet financial accounting objectives Prepare and present KPIs to stakeholders, providing recommendations Be responsible for the statutory and tax requirements and reports in agreement with the group policy and tax and accounting regulation Be the liaison for internal and external audit partners Work with central teams to develop synergies and ensure proper workflow Participate in process simplification, develop automation, rationalize processes Ensure smooth and efficient collaboration with the FP&A and Controlling teams for overall finance performance Be a change driver of Company/Finance transformation & participate and lead initiatives linked to the company strategy including quality improvement Participate in ERP enhancement and maintenance with IT and develop automation (RPA, etc.) and modern practices Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing, skilled, and motivated team Encourage other employees to adhere to standards and quality Be a change driver of Company/Finance transformation and lead/participate in transformational projects Your Profile Master's degree in finance or audit or similar 10 years of finance management experience in an international environment 5 years of experience in audit minimum Strong leadership skills People development oriented Team player Experience in a matrix environment would be a plus Good communication skills Change management experience IFRS knowledge BOFC/HFM knowledge would be a plus SAP knowledge Microsoft 365 knowledge Digital acumen and implementation experience in automation AP/AR would be a plus Continuous improvement mindset: Process improvement methodology would be a plus English fluency and Italian Contract Type Permanent Country ITALY Location Parma J-18808-Ljbffr
