What you will enjoy doingIn this role you will manage the working closely as part of the finance team, you will assist in the monthly closing and reporting process to US parent company under US GAAP including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations and helping to analyse the results.Furthermore you will assist with local Italian reporting under local GAAP principles and undertaking adhoc tasks to support the overall finance team in their activities as well as Financial Planning processes (Monthly Forecasting / Annual Budget).You will support with the wider Commercial and Operational side of the organisation on various reporting and you will update the Group tool for capturing and reporting Productivity savings (Powersteering) and in maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, updating entries to the General ledger and ensuring ledgers are reconciled. Tasks include calculating depreciation, reporting on projects under construction, monitoring and policing capital spending and assisting in preparation of capital proposals. Working with the wider local plant teams to carry out annual physical asset audits and follow through with appropriate actions to ensure both the Fixed Asset register and General Ledger are aligned.In this role you support the team with the accounting for inventories (including raw material stocks and usage) and ensuring reconciliation of the Inventory ledger to the General ledger. Use financial judgment to periodically review raw material standard costs. Carry out annual physical stock audits and follow through with appropriate actions to ensure reconciliation to the general ledger.Additionally you assist in producing monthly, quarterly and annual schedules as required by the parent company, Government returns and in producing the Company's annual statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.Further you will design and develop solutions as required to strengthen existing reporting processes and systems, carry out ad-hoc information requests and problem solving activities.Lastly you will provide full support for all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures, to achieve Zero / Zero target and you adopt and support the principles of 5S.What makes you greatYou have an Administration Diploma and 5 years + relevant accounting experience.You must be an Advanced user of Excel.Furthermore you possess a good systems knowledge - Oracle / Hyperion.Additionally, you possess a good English level.Lastly you are a strong team player and communicator.Why you will love working with usLinde AMT Italy Srl offers a comprehensive array of high-performance coatings and technologies in the following fields of application: automotive, oil & gas, paper, textile, printing, chemical, avio, and other industries in general.
