The candidate will join the Finance team and will be responsible for the main activities related to the monthly closures of the 4 companies of Auto1 Group and will also be the main point of reference of the department for the new special projects requested by HQ.
Your Profile:
Post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting (e.g., MSc in Finance, CCA, or equivalent). Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant, ideally within an international organization or previous experience in audit (Big Four) for at least 3-4 years. Strong knowledge of reporting tools, including Excel (Google Sheets is a plus). Experience with accounting software (Oracle or similar) and proficiency in year-end closing, VAT, and tax reporting. Detail-oriented, methodical, and analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently and taking on large-scale responsibilities. Fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting activities for our Italian operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting according to both local and group standards. Review, analyze, and ensure the reliability of financial information, making necessary corrections and adjustments. Lead and coordinate monthly and annual financial closings. Manage and validate intercompany transactions, ensuring reconciliation between entities. Prepare and submit external and internal reports to group HQ. Drive process improvements by strengthening and documenting existing financial procedures, automating repetitive tasks to focus on high-value activities. Lead and participate in various strategic projects, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and continuous improvements in financial efficiency. Support internal audits and annual tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Serve as one of the key points of contact for auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
