- **Junior Accountant** is the professional responsible for ensuring that the company's accounting, reporting, and financial management functions correctly and effectively, thus enabling the company to achieve its objectives (financial, economic, management).
This is an important role in the administration, finance, and accounting department.
- The Junior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations of the finance function, coordinating staff such as accountants and management control staff, and working closely with the CFO and company management to provide data and support in planning activities.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinating management control activities;- Analyzing processes and defining management control procedures;-
- Measuring the performance and assessing the efficiency of accounting, reporting, and the internal controlling system;-
- Ensuring compliance of transactions with accounting principles;-
- Collaborating in the definition of the expenditure budget;-
- Preparation of forecasts;-
- Monitoring and evaluating business performance and cost controlling of the various business areas;-
- Analyzing deviations of budget items from planned financial and economic targets;-
- Prepare periodic reports;-
- Supporting the CFO in strategic planning activities;-
- Drawing up proposals for the development of the accounting and administrative area;- Advising management on accounting, financial, and tax matters.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Fluent in English;- Bachelor's Degree;-
- Knowledge of management control principles and methods;-
- Sound knowledge of business economics, accounting, budgeting, and budget analysis;- Computer skills (Excel, accounting software, ERP systems...).
