OverviewAbout the JobTITAN Cement Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting & Finance Officer to manage TITAN's terminal financial operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for financial analysis, operations, compliance with local, group and international financial standards, and creating insights that enable business decisions.The position is based in Porto Marghera, Venice Italy and it will report directly to the Managing Director of the Ortona terminal.ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Be DoingManage asset and liability accounting, compile the Italian Financial Statement in collaboration with external financial advisorsPrepare monthly financial statements, including P&L reports, compare monthly financial information to budget reviews, in adherence to IFRS and Group standardsHandle customer invoicing and supplier invoice processing while ensuring strong vendor relationshipsEnsure compliance with local tax obligations, including timely filing and paymentMonitor bank accounts to ensure liquidity and optimization of cash flow, manage payments, such as salaries, taxes, suppliersOversee credit collection to support the sales team in credit managementMaintain strong relationships with payroll consultants, tax advisors, and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accurate processingCollaborate closely with Terminal and Group teams to align financial practices and support audit processesQualificationsWhat You Will Bring AlongDiploma or degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in accounting, financial control, and treasury managementGood command of Business English, both written and spokenCompetent in using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reportingFamiliarity with IFRS and financial management software, such as SAGE or SAP, will be considered an advantageWhat you need to succeedStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailContinuous improvement attitudeAbility to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficientlyAbility to prioritize well and meet deadlinesFlexibility and willingness to learnStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
