**The Role**
At Matrix Renewables we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Associate to join our team. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for collecting all sales and purchases invoices and seeking authorization autonomously. This role involves financial analysis, accounting skills and auditing.
**Key activities and responsibilities**:
- Collect all sales and purchase invoices, match them against valid PO and seek authorization from the relevant area manager through NEtSuite platform.
- Manage multiple bank accounts, payment forecast.
- Provide monthly supporting documentation to the local accounting teams so that they can draft the month end package.
- Perform reviews of the month end pack of all companies.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Support financing team on project financing.
- Support in group audits and Due Diligence processes.
- Ad Hoc admin duties when required.
**General Skills / Attributes**:
- Degree in Business Administration, economics or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Renewable Energy sector.
- An ability to perform at a high level in a matrixed organization, working in interdepartmental teams to achieve objectives.
- Solid communication skills: capability to perform presentations, establish technical discussions in different cultural environments.
- Fluent in English & Italian. Spanish will be much appreciated.
