Job Description Job Summary: To manage the general accounting needs of our Mediterranean region. After an introduction program, you will be the autonomous respondent for all general accounting needs, in particular, this includes following tasks:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the integrity of financial statement/regulatory reporting information recorded in the legal entities. Accounts Receivable & Payable management. Execute monthly closings (bank reconciliation, fixed asset depreciation, bad debts, accrual posting, main balance sheet/profit & loss accounts reconciliation, basic financial reporting and comments on monthly figures). Cash Management preparation for the entities. Preparation of VAT returns & Intrastat. Support financial partner to prepare statutory accounts and income tax returns. Coordination and supervision of Financial audits. Support ad-hoc projects. The position reports directly to the Head of Finance, based in Lisbon.
Qualifications Your Skills and Experience:
Educated to degree level in Accounting and/or Finance. Advanced Excel skills. Between 2 and 4 years of experience in a similar role. You are independent, flexible and precise, with a particular ability to work under tight deadlines. You have good English proficiency.
