We are starting a movement. Designing a positive Earth future. We have an exciting opportunity to support our Finance team in a part time 2 days per week role, focused on our Italian entity (Pangaia Materials Science SRL). This role will be reporting into the Finance Manager who is based in London.
In this role, you will have complete autonomy to run the transactional functions and involves continuous interaction with key internal and external stakeholders in the business. There are several ongoing projects that this role supports.
Key Responsibilities: Manage Accounts Payable (invoice receipt and payments), Accounts Receivable (invoice creation and cash receipts) and other cash and stock transactions performed. Manage core finance processes to ensure effective operation and data integrity. Preparing audit information as required. Drive improvement to processes and systems to ensure they are efficient and fit for purpose and to improve controls. Assist the Head of Finance and Finance Manager on ad hoc projects. Requirements: Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent). Oracle NetSuite experience. Bookkeeping experience. Strong communications skills with the ability to build relationships across the business. Previous experience in a transactional finance role (Accounts Payable/Receivable/Cash Management) advantageous. Experience in a retail or e-commerce business would be an advantage. Use of Financial IT systems to ensure accurately processed transactional data. Experience of small-scale process improvement and implementation. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage and prioritise issues. Benefits: 25 days of annual leave per annum + birthday day off + bank holidays. 70% Employee Discount on all our products.
