**POSITION SCOPE**
Reporting to Accounting Manager, the Account Resolution Credit Specialist position is responsible for maximizing profitability by reducing aging of trade receivables, minimizing bad debt and overall risk exposure while providing quality service to our customers.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Day-to-day monitoring and collecting on assigned customer accounts necessary to maintain and/or reduce aging of receivables.
- Maintain aged receivables at or below company acceptable delinquency rates.
- Assist with identified disputes and payment exceptions, including timeliness of dispute resolution.
- Investigate and resolve short payments and deductions made by the customer.
- Maintain day-to-day communications with peers, supervisor, and sales staff regarding receivable issues including but not limited to sales, disputes and collection activity.
- Document and communicate collection activity to Credit Manager.
- Work with other departments and/or divisions to maintain open lines of communication and cultivate working relationships that will benefit the customer and company profitability.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- High school diploma is required.
Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business is desired or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of general office experience preferably with a minimum of 3 years business to business (or related) collection experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 and/or AX preferred.
